There’s such a lot of world to see.

Sarah Kay

I watched her TED Talk yesterday as a sort of pity party for my lonely self, you know, being alone here and missing the TEDxYYC.
I cried the entire time because it was wonderful and I am just all over the place this week.

On a less “GET IT TOGETHER NANCE” post…

SKYFALL!

Seriously, though I have been waiting YEARS and I may have waited TO THE HOUR of when it was released.

These things make me happy and it was my childhood so can we just accept it and move on?

You think you have it all figured out

and then you realize you have no idea what you want or who you are.

It’s that kind of day.

This is so magical, I can’t even deal with it.

Melissa Harris-Perry describes herself as “cis” (via “MSNBC Talks To And About Trans People For An Hour, Doesn’t F*ck It Up” on autostraddle)

I seriously adore MHP. I kinda sorta wanna be like her when I grow up!

I guess I am officially graduated!

Weird feeling! It’s been such a whirlwind weekend! Graduating! New apartment! I’m ready to settle for a bit, just to gather my thoughts again.

Wait, does this mean I am, professionally, a broadcast journalist?

The Power of Vulnerability: Brené Brown studies human connection — our ability to empathize, belong, love. In a poignant, funny talk at TEDxHouston, she shares a deep insight from her research, one that sent her on a personal quest to know herself as well as to understand humanity.

I watched this on Netflix a while ago, it’s one of those things that just stick with you. It’s wonderful. Give it a watch?

TED TALKS is probably my favourite thing ever.
